This multi-use CD-Rom has 30 ready-to-print sets that can be used to follow the story lines of the popular books and folk tales listed below. The CD-ROM has 92 pages of images. This is the same CD that I use to make my felt-backed and magnetic storytelling sets. The images on the CD come from the characters, figures, and props of my hand-made, detailed felt sets. The images are brightly colored with easy-to-see features that capture the student's attention.
The PDF (Acrobat Reader) formatted CD-ROM makes it easy to find the story sets and pages that you want to print. Each tale/story has its own suggested separate pages. On average there are about 3 pages per story. Print the pages for a story on white paper, laminate the pages for durability, bond (spray adhesive) with soft felt, and then use scissors to cut out the pieces for your new storytelling set. It's that easy! Another quick way to make your story sets is to use iron-on T-shirt transfers. Print a story set on transfer paper, iron the transfer on to a piece of felt, then cut the story pieces out. The characters/figures also can be used in a host of other ways including bulletin boards, wall displays, literacy bags, classification activities, and identification games. However you choose to use the storytelling sets, you'll find that children love the large, expressive pieces and bright colors!
